These
five songs were recorded and mixed from June to July of 2000 by
Toby
Ellis.
| Written in 1996, this was one of Glaze's favorite songs. Tell Me Why is a straight forward rock song with a catchy chorus. | |
| Mark Wrote Take You Away while in his previous band Water (no relation to the song below.) This dynamic song is one of Glaze's darker songs. | |
| Like Water is Glaze's regression to the 80's. Ric Ocasic was once heard saying, "Hey! Didn't I write that song?" | |
| Cheater of Fools | This was one of the first songs Glaze wrote after Mark joined the band and Jeff returned from his one year stint in Europe. |
| I'm Too Good for You | Jeff wrote this song while living in Switzerland for a year. I'm Too Good for You is pretty much Jeff's take on his experiences across the pond. |

| CelticRock | One of Glaze's oldest songs, Celtic Rock was written by Wayne. It is a dynamic song that is one of their favorites. Why wouldn't it be? Wayne gets to sing! |
| Child is Crying | Child is one of those mysterious songs that slowly builds up until it explodes at the end. Just listen to the mystery! |
| Fireorb |
This is a pretty hard-rocking song with some great riffs. Fireorb is one of Randy's most favorite songs to play. |
| Like Water | Like Water is still one of the staples of Glaze's setlists. It is reminiscent of the 80's but has that twist that Glaze likes to put on their songs.....they don't know the meaning of the word "normal." |
| Out in the Dark | Baby, whatcha sayin/? Out in the Dark is Glaze's closing song 9 out of 10 shows. It's the perfect way to end out the night with this fun and heavier song. |
| Perfect Girl | Perfect Girl....What else can we say? Wayne gets to sing again. Don't let the song name fool you.....it's really about the Perfect Squirrel. |
| Tell Me Why | Even though they play it faster when they're live, Tell Me Why has some catchy choruses and some great backing vocals. |
These video clips were taken on July 8th, 2002 at the Canal Street Tavern in Dayton, Ohio.
| Tell Me Why | Even 6 years after its inception, Tell Me Why is still one of Glaze's favorite hard hitting tunes. It is one of their higher energy songs. |
| Coming Around | Coming Around was a new song at the time that we played this show. It's a great melodic song that isn't too long. |
|
Is it written about a girl or the perfect squirrel? Perfect Girl shows the happy-fun-rock side of Glaze. We wrote the intro all by ourselves, without any outside help or inspiration. |
|
| Old Coke | What band wouldn't be complete without an 80's folk protest song? Old Coke is Glaze's protest song. They're still upset about Coke taking sugar out of the "Classic" formula. |
| Sarah Allena | Mike wrote this song after he found out that his wife Sabrina was pregnant with their first child, Sarah Allena. This song is a nice slow melodic song. |
| Pharmacy Girl | Pharmacy Girl is one of Wayne's creations that was written in 2002. It is another song that makes us think back to the 80's. Wayne is on the lead vocals for this one. |
| Tomorrow's Gonna Find You | One of the oldest Glaze songs, Tomorrow's Gonna Find You is an upbeat song (with capos) that make many people smile, especially Randy's cousin, Jason. |
| Eunich Way | This is what happens when you're in college, have nothing to do, and manage to acquire some Schaffer Light. Eunich Way shows the lighter side of Glaze |
| It Wasn't Me | Jeff wrote this jewel back in 2002. If you can, listen carefully to the lyrics. They're hilarious! It Wasn't Me once again, shows just how funny Glaze can be when they want to. |
| I'm Too Good for You | Here's another one of Jeff's masterpieces. Glaze had some time to work on this piece since it was written in 1998. Jeff still isn't too sure if he likes it or not, but here it is. |
| California Dreamin' | Glaze is NOT a cover band. Their version of California Dreamin' is a prime example of why bands don't let Glaze cover their songs. Other people find this amusing. |
| When You Fall | When You Fall is a song from Schroeder (3/5 of Glaze during the first breakup) that has been brought back to life. It is an energetic and hard song rocks! |
| Like Water | Years ago at practice, Jeff used to use an old Korg DW6000 to make an annoying whistling sound that Glaze became fond of. Listen to Wayne recreate that sound with his mouth! |
